The Scottish Fold-eared Cat is a medium-sized cat, with males typically weighing 4-6 kg (9-13 lbs), and females 2.7-4 kg (6-9 lbs). The entire body structure is rounded, especially the head and face, and the eyes are large and round. The nose is short with a gentle curve and the cat's body is well-rounded with a padded appearance and medium to short legs. The head is domed at the top and the neck is very short. The wide-set eyes give the Scot a gentle expression.
